{ "name":"limox", "friendly_name":"LimoX", "description":"The Linux on mobile XMPP (LimoX) client", "state":"experimental" } ![Image: Big letter L inside a green speech bubble](../limox.svg "LimoX icon") LimoX is my own [XMPP][1] client. The goal is to implement a client with these attributes: - Linux support - high performance - mobile UI - basic features first following the [Kano model][2] - good quality If this goal is reached it would be possible to turn LimoX into a generic multi-platform XMPP client with support for Linux, Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS. The current state is far from the described goals, while simple text messages in one-to-one-chats are already implemented. Have a look at the [README][3] for a detailed roadmap. LimoX is now based on SDL2 and dropped (nearly all) features compared to the legacy [GTK4 / libstrophe][4] version. You can still use the old version with the legacy/gtk4-libstrophe branch, but future work will rely on SDL2 and self-written XMPP logic.
